| Procedure for L/C transfer |

- The exporter receives a transferable L/C from abroad
- The exporter submits an application to transfer the L/C together with the original L/C to the bank
- The bank checks the conditions of the L/C and endorses the transfer on the back of the original L/C
- The bank collects the transfer fees from either the transferring party or the transferee as agreed
- The bank gives the transferred L/C together with a copy of the document to the transferee
- The bank returns the transferred L/C to the second beneficiary

- The L/C must be transferable with the word "Transferable" clearly indicated on the document
- Under UCP600, a transferred L/C cannot be transferred to another beneficiary

| 0.25% of the amount transferred per transaction. The minimum fee is 1,000 baht and the maximum is 30,000 baht per transaction. |
