Alert Details

SMS received will have the following components:

  • Amount spent
  • Pay via a card number (last 4 digits of a card)
  • The name of the store you buy good or service
  • The time of expense
  • Remaining balance in credit card / debit card
  • In the case where the store cancel a transaction (Void), or in the case where there is a communication is disrupted during printing a slip (Reversal), the bank will send a SMS to inform cancellation for the transaction

Is there any limit on the number of SMS alerts I can receive in a month ?

No. Customers are notified by SMS every time they spend via their debit card; there is no limit on the number of SMS alerts you can receive.

An SMS sent from KBank contains a debit card number. How can I be sure that no KBank employee is allowed to know my card number ?

The SMS is sent by an automated system and displays only the last four digits of the debit card number in its messages.

How can I cancel the service ?

To cancel service, you can call our K-Contact Center at​ 02-8888888, ​anytime 24/7, or you can also do this on any K - ​ATM
