Investment Principles


Because investment markets are volatile and sensitive to many factors, our principles for designing investment portfolios are based on numerous dimensions of asset allocation, with emphasis placed on creating regular returns in every circumstance over the long-term.

To make a clear allocation of investment and establish an investment risk limit, the first step of planning is to divide the total wealth into three pockets in accordance with your respective goals.

Asset Allocation

Investment portfolio from each pocket should include diverse investment products in order to diversify risks.

In addition, as the risk of each asset varies, investment allocation for each asset should not be made in the same proportion. We therefore advise our clients to consider an investment proportion in accordance with the ‘risk’ level of each asset, or risk-based allocation, in order to control the overall risk of the portfolio in accordance with investors’ wishes.

One principle of appropriate risk diversification is that it should be diverse in terms of investment destination. KBank Private Banking therefore places emphasis on diversifying investment in both Thailand and abroad.
